Yeah, I was completely and utterly lazy this morning. My solution for that - Dresses. Because then I don't have to expend any energy standing in the closet and trying to match stuff.
This dress is one of my favorites. This is the Delia in paisley from Igigi a couple of months ago. I think it's now in the sale rack on the site. I should have double checked, but yeah ... Lazy.
The only issue I had was that I've lost just enough weight that I'm dancing the bottom line of this size 26/28. Igigi tends to run slightly large. That said, I'm not sure how a 22/24 would fit. I think my solution is going to be to pull out the sewing machine and get re-acquainted with taking in clothes. Because I love this dress and I want it to last me as long as possible.
Regardless - I love this dress. It's a FAUX wrap so I don't have to worry so much about windy days. It's got enough character I don't need to spend time picking jewelry. It another unbelievably soft and lush fabric offering from the marvelous Igigi (le sigh).
I feel like I'm being incredibly lazy and comfy every time I wear it, but I also invariably get compliments.
My only regret today is that I didn't check the weather before I left the house. It was cold. Could have been colder, yes, but still cold enough to be a bit of a shock to the system.
Tomorrow, regardless of how lazy I am, I'm gonna have to go with pants.
